If it aint broke, does it need fixing?

I’m chairing a panel at the upcoming Event Tech Live with the title “If it isn’t broken, does it need to be fixed?”

Event Tech Live is obviously the place to go to learn about all things technology ( You can register here). My company, N200|GES will of course be there as well as a lot of interesting sessions going on throughout the day talking about latest tech or insight around events. Exciting.

As per my sessions description, “there is no doubt that technology has already enabled the events industry to solve some big problems & offered many benefits to organisers…” but… We also hear quite often about different technology that comes and goes that maybe wasn’t even needed in the first place. Badging is an example. Do we need digital badges?

As part of the session, we wanted to open it up to the floor to see what you wanted to debate on the subject.

So, over to you. What eventtech do you feel is just being developed for tech’s sake? Is it actually fulfilling a purpose? Or is “it” just a flash in the pan?

Feel free to comment below or direct message me if you don’t want it to be known publicly what you like or dislike.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you on November 9th!
